Where to Buy Plus Sizes JFashion Oshikatsu Clothes

Lately, I have been researching the popular Japanese Fashion trends. I came across some accounts on Instagram and Tiktok, and I immediately got fascinated with the type of clothes that they are wearing. And as a plus-size girly, I went ahead and researched if I can buy those kinds of dresses good for my size. And I guess I did! So today, I want to share where I bought some of my plus-size JFashion clothes.

As someone who loves doing oshikatsu, my feed on social media sites takes me to different Japanese accounts that do this kind of activity as well. One time, I noticed an account wearing a very pretty dress from Liz Lisa, and they took a photo of themselves with the clothes they were wearing plus their oshi merch.

As I dig deeper with the brand, I noticed the terms Jirai Kei and Ryousangata. Lo and behold, I found a rabbit hole that I wanted to explore!

According to what I have researched and seen on different SNS sites, Ryousangata refers to the "mass-produced, popular" fashion trend. And one of the popular trends, especially with doing oshikatsu is wearing Jirai Kei. Other fashion trends go well with oshikatsu, such as Hime Kaji, Suna Kei, French Girly Kei, and more!

I want to talk about more of this current trend in Japan, but in all honesty, I can't say that I am the right person to talk about it since I am still new to this. I am still exploring and looking for the kind of JFashion that I am more comfortable with.

I have tried Lolita fashion several times (and tried joining a competition as well). I definitely love this fashion style. But honestly, I am having a hard time looking for plus-size dresses for this, so I kinda gave up and set aside the only 2 Lolita dresses that I have.

I decided to use Doorzo Japanese Proxy App to look for plus-size dresses. With this, I got to know Yumetenbo and discovered brands like Dear My Love. Digging some more, I also saw brands like Majoretty and Sureve, which cater to plus-size clothing, too!

Important Note: Know your size in Japanese sizing. For my haul today, I ordered clothes in 3L~5L sizes because I want to know which size I am comfortable wearing. You can look up online for the Japanese Size guide, or check this image below:

I want to share my recent Doorzo Haul, containing the different brands of dresses that I bought and my review of them.

1. Majoretty

Majoretty has a surprisingly large amount of clothes, and they have a lot of Jirai Kei tops available. They are also known for catering to size-inclusive clothes. But since I like wearing dresses more than wearing tops and skirts, I went ahead and looked for more designs until I stumbled upon these two dresses.

Both of these dresses are 4L in size. I fell in love with the combination of white/gray/black for the dress on the left. It can go well with some of my favorite oshis. And since my main oshi is concentrated on the color red, I have to get the one on the right.

I must say that the fabric is a bit on the thinner side. It's pretty comfortable to wear when the weather is hot. I guess my only issue with Majoretty is the sleeve width because they're pretty huge for my liking. I might consider doing some alterations to the sleeve.

I looked up through Doorzo App using the keywords: Majoretty 4L, Majorettyプラスサイズ

2. Dear My Love

DearMyLove also has plus-size clothing, and so far, this is the brand that I want to explore more and buy more of their clothes if I ever get the chance again. The variety of clothes they have that go well with Jirai Kei/Ryousangata is really good for me. They also have oshikatsu clothes in different colors, too.

DearMyLoveWhip is their sub-branch that caters to the plus-size versions of their clothes. And I do love the quality of each of them. The dresses below range from 3L~5L sizes.

For DearMyLoveWhip, the quality of the cloth is thick. The details are good as well. I ordered dresses in dark colors, but I plan to purchase a lighter one if I get the chance again. Comfort-wise, I love DearMyLoveWhip.

The sizing of the bust/sleeves/length is good for my body. The 3L size is comfortable for me, but my only issue is the bust area. It's quite fit for my liking. The 4L size is the size that is exactly for me, with enough allowance for the bust, sleeve width, and waist area. Not tight but not too big. The 5L size is good, too, but the waist area is a bit big, so I used safety pins to at least minimize the size.

I looked up through Doorzo App using the keywords: DearMyLoveWhip, DearMyLove 4L, DearMyLove5L

3. Sureve

Sureve, like Majoretty, has a large amount of clothes, and they have Sureve+ for plus sizes. Since I already owned some Sureve+ dresses, I know that the 4L size is the exact size for me. These are some of the Sureve+ clothes that I own:

I decided to search for another Sureve+ top. And I immediately added this one to my cart:

If I'm right, this top goes well with Dark Girly Kei since the pink shade is technically darker compared to the usual Jirai Kei pink. I used my thrifted DearMyLoveWhip skirt for this, but I do think a plain black skirt is better.

Quality-wise, Sureve is good for everyday use since the material is comfortable enough during warm weather. It's cheaper as well, and as I mentioned above, they also have a wide range of clothing. Their latest designs are good for Gyaru. You can mix and match to get the kind of style that you want.

I looked up through Doorzo App using the keywords: sureve+, sureve 4L

((I will update this post because I plan to try more jfashion brands that are size-inclusive and do a very quick review about what I ordered.))

For quick searching, you can use プラスサイズ量産型 (plus size ryousangata) for the ryousangata clothes, 量産型 (ryousangata), プラスサイズ地雷系 (plus size jirai kei) or 地雷系 (jirai kei).

You can also search "Yumetenbo" via Doorzo App under "Sites" and explore more JFashion dresses.

If you like the brands above and you struggle to have them ship to your address, I would like to recommend using Doorzo Japan Proxy App. They have a website and they are available on the Play Store, too. I have used their service a couple of times already, and from my experiences so far, it's a smooth transaction, and I got my whole package in great condition.
